Kagurazaka is sometimes called "Tokyo's small Kyoto" or "Paris in Tokyo". It is a very attractive town, which combines both an old and international atmosphere. Reviews

Yokohama city

Our 2nd day with Michiko was wonderful too. We were able to see sights that we wouldn't have seen otherwise if we'd planned to do it ourselves. Just took all the stress out of it when someone knows the place so well and how to get around best. The Sankeien garden was beautiful and the view from the Land Mark tower amazing. Thank you Michiko, so grateful for our 2 day tour with you.

Dear Katie and Murray, Thank you for sending two reviews for each day. It's been a long time since I brought guests to Yokohama, even though I used to live there. So, I enjoyed it as much as you did. I hope you enjoy the cruise over Japan and Jeju Island! Michiko

Amazing first day in Tokyo

We had an amazing first day in Japan, Tokyo with Michiko our guide. We loved being shown and learning about the Meiji Jingu Shrine, the Imperial Palace garden and the Akakura & Sensoji Temples. Michiko put us at ease getting on trains and looked after our every need. She is a lovely kind lady with a good sense of humor.

Dear Katie and Murray, Thank you for taking the time to write the excellent review so quickly. I was happy to be your guide, as you are an easy-going and generous couple. Additionally, you provided me with information on cruising, which is very interesting and helpful. Von voyage!

Just Lovely

We had a wonderful day and it was all thanks to her excellent insight of being prepared for what the day was going to be like for us. She knew it was a holiday weekend, warned us to expect crowds & perfectly managed to still get us to see so much! We truly appreciate her hospitality, kindness & flexibility! You will be lucky enough to experience a day with her warmth, knowledge of Japan and her overall love of life and true love of what she does! We are not easy to please and have high expectations and she surpassed all of ours! We can’t wait to visit again and have another day with her! Cheers to your adventures! Alexis C

Hi Alexis, Thank you for taking the time to write such an excellent review. Your review makes me happy and reminds me of all of your faces. Yes, your requested date was during the golden week. It was the busiest time in Japan. Luckily, we were able to see major sightseeing spots in Kamakura. I look forward to seeing you again in Japan! Best wishes, Michiko
