Mt. Takao tour (great for kids)-

Have the kids occupied while the adults enjoy the beautiful nature, attractions and temples of Mt. Takao. We offer not only an all inclusive guided tour in English for the adults but also a "treasure map" style game for children to enjoy with prizes that include Japanese coloring books, snacks, toys and candy. We will even teach them Japanese!
We will see the Takao Museum, ride the cable car, visit the monkey and flower park, learn about the temples and on a clear day see Mt. Fuii at the summit.

Meeting Point
Takao San Guchi Train Statiom
- We will meet outside the ticket gates of the station. There is only one exit to this station.
Takao 599 Museum
After meeting an handing out the kid’s adventure packs we will walk to Takao 599 Museum.
Takao Cable Car
From the museum we will take the cable car up to the temples.
Takao Monkey Park and Flower Garden
From the cable car we will walk to the Monkey Park and Flower garden.
Takao’s Famous Temples
After the monkey park we will walk through the famous Takao Temples.
Mt. Takao Summit.
We will walk to the summit and hopefully see Mt. Fuji.
Return from the summit.
We will return from the summit and go to the cable car
Famous Mt Takao soba lunch
After returning from the summit you and your family can enjoy a famous Takao soba lunch. While enjoying, your host will make 10 Japanese postcards with pictures of your journey.

About Tour Guide Dan C.
Hi I’m a friendly Australian living in Japan for 20 years. I work as a Kindergarten teacher here so I design my tours to be very Family Friendly: stress free for the parents and exciting for the kids. I particularly love to make little packs filled with goodies for the kids so they can experience what Japanese kids do. “Stress-free kids tour around Harajuku”

“Great way to orientate to Japan”
We (family of four, including two teen boys) met Dan pretty much as soon as we got into Tokyo and he was an enormous help in getting us up to speed in hour to get around in Japan. Dan was really flexible in planning something that suited the interests of everyone in the family and made all the different places we visited interesting - even tho we were all still pretty exhausted from the flight. We really enjoyed our tour with Dan and would recommend it as a great way to kick off a first visit to Japan.
“Amazing caring tour guide”
It’s like having your best friend meet you in a foreign country. Dan was awesome. He made the kids feel so welcomed and loved that when asked what was the best part of being in Japan they responded by saying meeting Dan! He was organized with cold water and little cards that were tailored to their interest. I could relax while Dan lead the way! What we loved about Dan was his excitement of being with our crazy bunch! Dan thank you again for a wonderful tour. We coming back to see you and of course Japan!
