Hi I’m a friendly Australian living in Japan for 20 years. I work as a Kindergarten teacher here so I design my tours to be very Family Friendly: stress free for the parents and exciting for the kids. I particularly love to make little packs filled with goodies for the kids so they can experience what Japanese kids do. I want my guests to experience a real Japan and I love teaching Japanese to the little ones. * Children with special needs and/or mobility issues are especially welcomed. I can make accommodations and plan a tour based on their unique needs.

“Perfect guide for young families! ”
Dan brought so much energy and enthusiasm from start to finish. He was able to bring the Japanese culture to life for our 8 and 10 year old kids in the best way. Dan curated our day based off my kids personalities and we were thrilled with our tour!

“Walking tour with kids ”
Dan was our guide for our second day in Japan. He was in touch and quickly responded throughout the planning phase. He was flexible with what we wanted to achieve throughout the day and suggested some great ideas. Can called the day before to check we were comfortable with the meeting point and confirm plans. Upon meeting Dan my family were completely impressed that he knew each of their names and we started on our adventure. I was able to relax and enjoy the sights without worrying about timeframes, trains or locations. Dan took charge of it all and kept the children entertained the whole way! He had a stash of games, lollies and hilarious jokes to make for an enjoyable day. Dan helped us get our Suica cards and taught us some great tips for moving around using public transport. We had a great day with Dan and he set us up for a great trip. He even checked in after our tour and gave us a tip of somewhere to visit in other cities. My children 10,8 and 4) continue to talk about the fun day we had with Dan. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Dan guide us again!

“A Wonderful Tour with Dan!”
We had an incredible experience on our tour with Dan! From the very beginning, he greeted us with a warm smile, and we immediately knew it was going to be a fantastic day. Dan was extremely engaging and interactive, answering all our questions and providing insightful explanations about Japanese culture. My son especially enjoyed learning phrases in Japanese and collecting little treats throughout the day. Dan was fantastic with kids, creating a fun and educational atmosphere for everyone. His professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge of Tokyo made the day even more special. I highly recommend this tour, especially for families—it's the perfect introduction to Tokyo and Japan that caters to both adults and children!
