“Wonderful experience with Eiko in Okazaki and Asuke village”
Eiko-san was a wonderful guide for me and my daughter when we came to Japan for the first time now in January. She helped us build our itinerary, provided great advice as to how and when to travel from Osaka to Okazaki, picked us up from the train station and gave us a lot of practical assistance during our first day in Japan. Her kind help was greatly appreciated! She also helped me get in touch with a contact person for tourist association in Tono city, which was our next destination. Thanks to Eiko, me and my daughter had a great experience in Asuke village, participating in traditional straw making craft, making waraji. Through this experience, we have learned a lot about Japan’s history and traditional crafts and will treasure these memories forever. I would be happy to return to Japan and have Eiko-san as guide again, if an opportunity arises in the future. With greetings from Norway, Julia and Kathinka

“Wonderful day with Eiko”
My husband was in Nagoya for business and not wanting to navigate Nagoya alone I arranged a day tour with Eiko. She is a wonderful guide and speaks English like a native. She was able to change our tour route at the last minute to accommodate rainy weather in the morning. She was very well prepared and had a few pages of notes written with graphics about the places we visited. She has a very friendly and open personality and at the end of our day I felt like I had spent the day with a good friend. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would!
$192/ per group

Nagoya Highlights for First Timers
After we meet up around 9:00, we get on a bus. First, we go to Nagoya Castle, a must-see place in Nagoya, then move to Tokugawa Japanese Garden and its museum, where you may have a nice lunch or grab a bite overviewing the beautiful garden, walk through Culture Street, then Mirai Tower. In this way, you will see from the past of Japan to a current modern town. There is a local's favorite entertainment district, where you can enjoy international cuisine and shopping.

Going to Okazaki Castle and miso brewery is included, Iga Shrine and Dai-juji Temple can be added and also I have friends who offer personalized casual Tea ceremony, Kimono dressing, Flower arrangement and Caligraphy in uncommercial settings if you are interested. Experience unique cultures and immerse yourself in a local house.
