Walk the Samurai Road (Nakasendo Trail) from Magome to Tsumago
Magome and Tsumago-juku still remain nestled in the mountains today. Having escaped modern development, their streetscapes preserve the strong atmosphere of the Edo period.
On this tour, you will walk from Magome to Tsumago along mountain trails lined with hinoki cypress trees that have remained largely unchanged for hundreds of years.
The sacred fragrance of hinoki, the gentle sound of flowing streams, and the songs of wild birds will softly welcome you along the way.
