In spring, all the flowers start to grow . In summer, Hokkaido is rather dry with low humidity. In autumn, the breathtaking autumn colored mountains can be seen . In winter, white snow covers the ground .

Sushi, Ramen noodles, Genghis khan mutton barbecue, Beer, Ice cream, etc. are the foods Hokkaido is proud of. Skiing, Onsen(Hot sprig),Ice-fishing,etc. also attract a lot of tourists from abroad.
