Shirahige Waterfall

Shirahige Waterfalls, located near the Blue Pond, offers an enchanting sight as the water cascades over the rocks, creating a beautiful white mist. Set against the backdrop of lush forests, it’s a serene and tranquil spot. We will stroll there for some time, take photos and enjoy the scenery.

Shirogane Blue Pond is a magical sight, known for its stunning turquoise water. We will spend about 30 minutes strolling and taking photos there before we head to our next destination.

Flowers & Lunch at Shikisai no Oka

During Late July to October, Shikisai no Oka in Biei transforms into a vibrant sea of color, a variety of flowers in full bloom. It’s a breathtaking sight that perfectly captures the beauty of Hokkaido’s, Mt. Daisetsu, and surrounding hills, with photo stops along the way—an ideal way to experience nature’s beauty up close.

At Farm Tomita, we will enjoy strolling through colorful flower fields, taking beautiful photos, and sampling Furano's famous fresh melon and lavender icecream. We will enjoy vibrant lavender blooms, visit the souvenir shops, and relax while enjoying the stunning countryside scenery.

Ningle Terrace

At Ningle Terrace, we will walk through charming wooden cottages nestled among the trees, browse unique handmade crafts and local artwork, enjoy the peaceful forest atmosphere, and capture beautiful photos in one of Furano's most enchanting settings. We can have a cup of coffee at the beautiful Cafe Mori no Tokei.

Tour Important Information

Clients may request to start the tour from different cities or ports instead of Sapporo. Pick-up and drop-off can be arranged from the following locations (subject to confirmation and additional travel time):

Please note that extra transportation costs (such as fuel, tolls, or parking) may apply depending on the meeting point. Guests are encouraged to inform the guide in advance to allow for smooth planning and coordination.

Dress for the season: Choose clothes that are suitable for the weather—light layers in summer for comfort and warmth in winter to stay cozy.

Apply sunscreen: Protect your skin from harmful UV rays and avoid sunburn by using sunscreen, especially on sunny days.

Wear comfortable shoes: Opt for soft, supportive shoes to ensure comfort while walking and exploring the sights.

Carry a hat or sunglasses: Shield your eyes from the sun’s glare and keep cool by wearing a hat or sunglasses during outdoor activities.

Even if I am not available, you can still inquire and I can consider giving you the tour out of my unavailable days.

For Private Car Tours: I can guide upto 9 visitors in (Sapporo, Otaru, Noboribetsu, Asahikawa, Furano, Biei) and any other destination(s) of your choice.

We hired Asad in July 2026 for a private tour of the Shakotan Peninsula and Otaru, and he was the best guide we have ever had. From the planning stage, he was responsive, helpful, and attentive to everything we wanted to see. He arrived on time, drove safely, and provided a clean, comfortable vehicle. He knew the area like the back of his hand, taking us to every planned stop while also recommending hidden gems, scenic viewpoints, and local places we never would have found on our own. Throughout the day, Asad focused on our comfort and made sure everything ran smoothly without ever making us feel rushed. He brought snacks and water, treated us to ice cream, and even paid for a taxi in Otaru so we would not miss our dinner reservation. At a sake distillery, he translated for us and helped us choose the best bottles. He also spoke with the host at our sushi restaurant to make sure we were well taken care of. Asad was excellent company and a great conversationalist, but he also knew when to give my wife and me space. He struck the perfect balance between guiding us and letting us enjoy Hokkaido at our own pace. Every recommendation was thoughtful and spot-on. The tour was worth every penny and became one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Asad is knowledgeable, dependable, generous, and genuinely kind.
