Omiya Bonsai Art Museum & Bonsai Village nurseries walk.
We will begin our tour by visiting the world-renowned Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, where you will learn about the history, aesthetics, and intricate techniques of bonsai care while admiring remarkable centuries-old masterpieces. Afterward, we will take a stroll through the quiet streets of Omiya Bonsai Village to visit traditional local nurseries, where master gardeners cultivate and display a wide variety of exquisite bonsai trees.
Omiya Park & Omiya Hikawa Shrine
Next, we will head to Omiya Park, a scenic green area perfect for a relaxing walk. Right next to the park sits Omiya Hikawa Shrine, one of the oldest and most prominent Shinto shrines in the Kanto region. We will walk along its impressive tree-lined approach (Sando) and learn about traditional Shinto rituals, history, and architectural beauty.
Local Lunch
To wrap up our tour, we will return to the Omiya Station area, where you can enjoy a delicious local lunch or coffee break at a traditional eatery or modern café. I will be happy to recommend local specialties and assist you with directions or train routes for the rest of your day in Japan.
