Meeting Point
In front of Starbucks Coffee Lumine at Kawagoe Station (JR or Tobu Line)
- It is located on the west side of Kawagoe Station, right outside JR Kawagoe Station. Note: NOT Hon Kawagoe Station (Seibu Line) and Kawagoe-Shi Station (Tobu Line)
Hikawa Shrine
Step into the enchanting world of Kawagoe Hikawa Shrine, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of "Little Edo"—Kawagoe City! With a history spanning over 1,500 years, this sacred Shinto shrine is renowned for its spiritual atmosphere. (We will take a bus from Kawagoe Station to Hikawa Shrine. )
Kawagoe Castle

Penny Candy Alley (Kashiya Yokocho)

Time Bell Tower (Toki no Kane)
Discover the iconic symbol of Kawagoe! Standing tall for over 400 years, this historic clock tower has been faithfully marking the passage of time since the Edo period.
Old Town (Kurazukuri no Machinami)
Experience the charm of Edo-era Japan! This beautifully preserved district is famous for its traditional clay-walled warehouse buildings (kurazukuri) that once served as shops for merchants during the Edo period. Strolling through these historic streets feels like walking through a living museum.

Tour Important Information
• Kawagoe Castle, museums, and some shops in Kurazukuri Street are closed on Monday and the 4th Friday of the month. So, please choose the days except Monday.
• This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.
• Several places we will visit do not accept credit cards, so please bring cash.
