This tour takes you more closer to Mt.Fuji, visiting Fujinomiya. This city is located on the southern foot of Mt.Fuji, being away only 20km from the top. There are so many spots worth seeing gifted from Mt.Fuji. Also, the gorgeous view of the mountain is always at the side of you. For going to and from there, we can take the local railways, which must be a fun experience, too.

We came to Kawaguchiko to see Mt. Fuji. Moto-san took us to the famous pagoda lookout but Fuji was in cloud. We walked up a few more steps and looked again and the top of the mountain appeared through a hole in the clouds. It was visible for only 60 seconds! How did he do that?
Hi David & Glenys san, Thanks for joining my tour. Just a glimpse makes more temptation, like a beautiful lady. You are already captured by Mount Fuji, haha. I respect you two are still energetic and cheerful. Good luck!
We had a day at Shimizu, Shizouka with Moto and it was absolutely pleasant. Being native to areas around Mt Fuji viewing sites, he facilitated the tour well, with added knowledge about the ritualistic and also technical aspects of appreciating the town and Mt Fuji. He also brought us to some of the places that were outside of our requested itinerary such as the Fujisan Hongu Sengen-Taisha Shrine and a few other places. These places were intendedly added by Moto so that we are able to appreciate the surrounding and understand the ascent of Mt Fuji in a wholistic way. What initiative, amazing! The driver that Moto arranged for us was extremely kind, safe and reliable. He would even stop by certain places when he sense that we would like to snap a shot. When we thought we would miss our last stop at nihondaira observatory due to limited time on our itinerary, Moto and the driver stretched our itinerary to ensure we could visit the place before going back to our cruise. We were really touched by their sincerity and effort to go the extra mile for us. All in all, I would rate Moto 6 stars if possible and please be assured to have him as your guide in Japan.
Hi Jakob san, Thank you for so much detailed and praising review! Also, I spent a lovely day with you two. I appreciated your assistance to succeed the tour! I hope to see you again soon. When are you coming next? With my all regards. Moto
We spent a wonderful day around Mt Fuji with Moto. It was a picture perfect day to view Mt Fuji, tour some lakes, explore a forest lava cave, a tasty lunch and finished the day at a sake brewery. Moto so very helpful, knew exactly where to go and when, to avoid too many crowds. He was familiar with everyone we met and told us many things about the area which made the day a highlight of our 2 week time in Japan. Highly recommend you get Moto as your guide.
Hi, Michael san. Thanks for a good review and five stars rating. It was the perfect day with great views of Mt.Fuji. I hope you are going to have wonderful time for the rest of your stay in Japan. See you again, cheers!
A tour guide with Motoyuki is the best experience a newcomer (or even experienced) in Japan could ask for. We were a group of three friends, who wanted to live a full day in the area around Mt. Fuji and experience as much of it as it was possible. The communication with Moto was perfect from the beginning. As soon as we booked the guide, he asked as what it is that we mostly want to see. After one or two emails we came down to our itinary, which included 3 lakes, 2 caves and a short (20 - 30 Minutes) walk in Aokigahara Forest. We had also rented a car, which was entirely taken care of Motoyuki. Moto is a scholar of those areas and gave us many important and interesting information about each place we visited. His english is great and he is also a really fun person! After the tour, he took us to a traditional local distillery, were we were able to try many types of Sake and shop our own. We were 2 weeks in Japan, saw uncountable great things, but that sunny day in the Nature under Mt. Fuji with Moto, will forever be stuck to our memories. Thank you again Moto for everything! We will see you again, when we will reach for the top of Mt. Fuji! Arigato Gozaimas!
Hi Andreas san, thanks for a praising review. The day was really perfect for weather, itinerary and our friendship! I hope that you are coming back Japan soon and meet you again!
