Welcome to Shizuoka in the central area of Japan.
I was born in Hakone, Kanagawa Pref. and grew up in Izu Peninsula, also studied English at Kanagawa University in Yokohama.
After graduation, I have traveled to a lot of countries such as Europe, U, S., Asia and lived in Australia for a year. I had a great time to visit there to have a wonderful experience.
So I decided to become a licensed tour guide for introducing Japan to foreign tourists.
Now I live in Izu which is close to Mt.Fuji and Hakone.
I'm interested in Arts, Hot Springs, traditional places and of course delicious food.
I would like to introduce beautiful Izu which has lots of Geopark sites and traditional Hot spring resort "Shuzenji, Nagaoka, and so on.
Please Enjoy this area together!!
Bienvenidos

“An excellent trip from Shimizu port”
Even bedore our tour, Yasuko kept us informed on a regular basis. Today, as soon as we left the Port terminal, she was there with a large sign, including my name. We took local transportation to and from our destination. This was a pleasant relief, from the tour bus expeditions that we had taken previously. Yasuko explained the various customs involved with the Fujisan Hongu shrine and she demonstrated various customs to us. We ate lunch at a Japanese restaurant which was very local. The food was interesting. Although we could not see the top Mount Fuji due to cloud cover just before we left there was a small break in the clouds. All in all I highly recommend Yasuko as a tour guide.

Samuel san, thank you so much for a good review. I'm so happy to hear that you all enjoyed my tour without viewing Mt.Fuji clearly. I really appreciate your cooperation in making the tour go smoothly. Have a wonderful trip in the rest of Japan.

“Lovely day with Yasuko”
We had a fantastic experience with our tour guide, Yasuko, from Shimizu port! From the moment we met, she was punctual and professional, setting a perfect tone for the day. Her deep knowledge of the area’s history, culture, and neighborhoods gave us such a rich and meaningful introduction to Mt. Fuji. What truly stood out was how personable and engaging Yasuko was — it felt like we were exploring the city with a local friend. She was thoughtful, flexible, and made sure the tour suited our family’s interests and pace. We visited the Fujisan Hongu Sengen Shrine with lovely views of Mt. Fuji, had a local lunch of Fujinomiya Yakisoba, made a brief run through of the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center. Our last stop of the day was a private tour of the Takasago Sake Brewery where we bought sake that is not imported to the states. It was the perfect way to spend our time in the Mt. Fuji area, and we’re so grateful to have had Yasuko as our guide. Highly recommend!
