Hi, I’m Masa T. — a passionate and experienced local guide based in Fukuoka.

Over the past 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of guiding more than 1,100 travelers from the U.S., Europe, Australia, and Asia as a volunteer guide. My goal is simple: to help you discover the best of Fukuoka through fun, personalized, and flexible tours.

I have created many tour courses based on my local knowledge and interests, and I’m also happy to offer customized tours tailored to your specific preferences and schedule.

I studied in the U.S. for 1 year and 8 months, and later worked as a manager at a major Japanese company, where I collaborated with engineers from various countries. I then served as a director of a group company for 7 years. These experiences have helped me connect easily with people from all over the world.

Professional Development

I participated in a five-day international convention organized by the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations in Fukuoka, attended by approximately 600 tour guides from around 50 countries. I attended professional seminars and actively exchanged knowledge with guides from around the world.
