First traditional hand painting experience (Hakata doll hand paint) at Folk Museum in Hakata.

Next change to Kimono and visit Hakata old town (Kushida Shrine, Tochoji Temple, Shotenji Temple and Hakata Sennen Gate) by rickshaw transportation.

For final, I’ll guide you to friendly dinner which means the Yatai stall that you can talk to all guests gathering at the same stall by drinking and eating.

Meeting Point

At your hotel or Hakata Station

- We will meet at the hotel lobby or outside Hakata Station.

02:00 PM

Hakata Machiya Folk Museum

You can understand the daily lives of people of Hakata from the late 19th century to the early 20th century that are showcased at the museum.

Please try your hand at painting traditional Hakata doll.

03:00 PM

Walin Hakata (Rental Kimono studio)

Change to rental kimono and visit Kushida Jinja shrine. As an option, you can try purification from shrine priest personally.

And then ride the traditional rickshaw and I’ll guide you to Tochoji Temple, Shotenji Temple and Hakata Sennen Gate, the main Hakata old town area by wearing kimono.

Canak City Hakata

Visit to a multifunctional complex facility with different types of attractive categories such as shopping mall, movie cinema, theater, and amusement arcade.

06:30 PM

Yatai stall

For final, I’ll guide you to friendly dinner which means the Yatai stall that you can talk to all guests gathering at the same stall by drinking and eating.

Hakata doll painting experience available on Friday and Saturday only. (1,500 yen)

Hakata Paper Mache Painting Experience available on Tuesday. (1,500 yen)

Or Hakata weaving demonstration and experience available everyday for free.
