Will visit a very panoramic viewing spot at the north edge of Kyushu island. This is not known for foreign tourists at all, but just 30 minutes walk to a hill, about 360m altitude, amazing view with a comfortable wind. You will find yourself that it is really worth taking a walk. From the hill, you will be able to see my small home town and how north edge of Kyushu land finishes.

It is 100% natural field activities. Once we enter the trail, there is no toilet, no building, no vending machine, no trash. We will climb altitude 300m with 30 minutes walk. Most of the trail is well maintained, but some part we go through rocky part, and slippery slope. Therefore, please prepare your clothes and shoes to make yourself comfortable (No high heel, ladies). You will be surely sweating, so the spare T-shirt and a towel, some plastic bottle of drinks will definitely help you. If you are not sure about your equipment, you can ask me and I can give you an advice.
After we meet each other at JR Moji station, we will use a local bus to move to the foot of the mountain.
For your information, after you come back from the mountain, and you want to refresh yourself, there is one spa called "Raku-No-Yu", 5 minutes from Moji station, and I can take you per your request (entrance fee is 750yen, not included as a guide fee).
Hi! My name is Yasuhiko Ikeda, please call me "Yasu", meaning "hello" in Greek. After I worked in an electric company in Japan, I became a professional guide to introduce my town, my country.
After Covid-19, tourism is back! you may want to have more private experiences like no other people had before. Then, my home, Fukuoka, has a lot to show you around. So many nice places, cultures, and nice local people with delicious local foods.
I like sports, climbing, running etc. I also like to visit temples and shrines. I am also an active backpacker, (have been to 50+ countries mostly in Asia and Europe over 30 years) So, I suppose I know well about where you would like to visit. :) I have never lived outside of Japan, however, you may also feel better that my speaking English is not typical Japanese "flat" intonation.
Where you would like to go, I will be there with you! I am looking forward to inquiry.
-Yasu

“Polite, responsive and extremely well prepared. ”
We had a wonderful tour of the canals of Yanagawa city with Yasuhiko. What was the most remarkable aspect of this tour was his flexibility to meet our desire to spend an easygoing, close to nature day at the tail end of a long trip. He was extremely polite, knowledgeable, responsive and well prepared. We strongly recommend him to anyone considering a visit to Fukuoko.
