During the day, you can enjoy clear views of the entire city, the bay, and even the distant mountains. What’s even better? There are some beautiful landscapes only visible in the daylight, such as the lush greenery of the surrounding hills and the clear blue waters of the bay. Plus, since it’s less crowded during the day, you can take your time to fully enjoy the scenery without the rush. It’s a peaceful experience, offering great photo opportunities.

The easiest way to reach the top is the Mt Hakodate Ropeway. The cable car takes you up in just 3 minutes, and you can enjoy beautiful views along the way.
