Hakodate Tour Reviews

“Personable, knowledgeable and flexible ”
Despite the rain Bobby gave us a wonderful peak into her home town. Using a mix of walking, buses and trams we explored the morning market, Goryokaku and swapped the cable car for the museum of northern peoples, all done at our pace. We also had a lovely soup curry lunch in a local restaurant we wouldn’t have ventured into on our own! Bobby is very upbeat and personable and made the tour delightful with her insights. Highly recommended.

Dear Vivien, Thank you so much for your very heartwarming review. As I read it, I was reminded of the wonderful time we spent together. It was truly a pleasure for me as well, getting to know you both and experiencing your warm and kind personalities. Enjoying soup curry on a chilly day in Hokkaido was simply perfect. I hope you continue to fully enjoy the rest of your time in Japan. Your words about how every town has something special and that you couldn’t choose just one meant a lot to me. It was truly an honor to hear that as a Japanese person. Please do visit Hokkaido and Hakodate again someday. I would be very happy to welcome you back. Warm regards, Bobby

“Great tour, very enjoyable, with cultural insights too.”
Thank you Bobby, very much for an excellent and very enjoyable morning tour of Hakodate. I absolutely loved it. You live in a beautiful city. And you have great knowledge, that you shared. And fun chatting with you and sharing the morning. Thanks also for sharing your thoughts on Japanese culture and latest trends etc., which I found really interesting and helpful. Your English is excellent. And you have clearly very well researched and prepared the topics/ locations that you are guiding. Finally, you were also able to help me with a number of practical tips and information, that really helped me plan my trip. And you were flexible in tailoring the tour to my requests, which we discussed in advance. Thank you very much. Andrew.

Hi Andrew, Thank you very much for your truly heartwarming and wonderful review. I’m deeply grateful for your kind words! I’m truly flattered. You kindly shared in advance all the things you were interested in and wanted to learn about, which helped me greatly in planning the tour. I really appreciated that. I also truly enjoyed hearing about the current situation in the UK. It was fascinating for me as well, and I had a wonderful time spending the morning with you. When someone speaks kindly about Hakodate, that means a lot to me. Although your visit was short, I sincerely appreciate that you chose to stop in Hakodate. Next time, I hope you can stay longer. I would love to show you even more of the charms of this beautiful city that we didn’t have time to see. I look forward to welcoming you again someday! Warm regards, Bobby
