“OK but a lot of travelling ”
The guide started with a visit to the observation tower at the Government Metropolitan Building which was excellent. However we spent a lot of the time on tubes and railways and taxis going to different shrines and temples, although we did make an impromptu visit to Akihabara to pick up a present for our granddaughter, which was much appreciated. The second day at Hakone was fun going on a variety of different transport modes, Cable Car, Ropeway, Mountain Train and boat which was wonderful although in reality you don’t need a guide to do any of this. Both days we ate lunch in very basic settings, once in Tokyo Railway Station and the other in a self service cafe both a little disappointing, unfortunately on the way back to our hotel our guide fell asleep on the bus (I think he was more tired than we were). All in all OK but unfortunately not exceptional, we’re sorry to say
