We had a half day tour with Yukari in Kanazawa, which was a bit ambitous as we clearly had to cut short some places. Yukari was friendly and had excellent English language skills, guided us through the Samurai, Geisha areas and the Omicho market, followed by the beautiful Kenroku-en gardens. Because of our particular interest in gardens she also recommended Gyokusen-en Nishida Family Garden, but if you've seen Kenroku-en, this is a bit of a disappointment. All in all, it was a very good half day tour but we would recommend allowing more time.
Thank you very much for your review! I appreciate that you were kind to me even though the tour had been too tight in a unwilling weather condition. I sincerely apologize for that the lack of my study and thoughtfulness may caused you uncomfortable feeling during the tour. Then I'm so sorry to hear that Gyokusen-en made you disappointed. I'm still hoping you would back to Kanazawa again sometime around Autumn leaves.
Yukari was wonderful. She was very kind and knowledgeable. We had a very good time together
Thank you very much for the review! I sincerely apologize for that I've missed your review such a long time. I enjoyed the tour with you, as well. Thank you very much for your recommend how to eat a corn. I'll enjoy that new taste.
Yukari was very charming and very informative on our tour of Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen gardens. We also we to the samurai district where she explained the history very well. I would certainly recommend Yukari as a guide. Allan
Thank you very much for the warm review. Yes, it was a nice day today and really lucky for you to see so much beautiful cherry blossom during the tour. I appreciate that you have been patient with me even though the last part of the tour didn't go well. I also enjoyed talking with you two very much. Please get a good rest tonight and enjoy the rest of stay in Kanazawa, as well. Thank you again for joining the tour. Yukari
From the onset Yukari was exceptional! Prompt replies to our emails and enquiries regarding our one day trip to Kanazawa. We were a family of four from Australia on our second trip to Japan, with two older children, 19 & 15 and had decided to do a day trip to Kanazawa from Nozawa Onsen, where we were having a ski holiday. Yukari organised a proposed agenda based on our needs, which somehow managed to include every site we wanted to visit plus more. We arrived on the Shinkansen at 9.30am, and were warmly greeted by Yukari at the station. From that moment, we relaxed and enjoyed the sites and delights of Kanazawa with Yukari leading the way! Yukari was a great guide with much historical and cultural knowledge to share at each location, and made it enjoyable and relevant for the whole family. Our day was full of sight seeing, walking, catching the local bus, lunch in a local restaurant that met everyone's dietary requirements, afternoon tea with gold leaf coffee and also some shopping for lovely japanese momentos to take home. Our day was non stop (which we loved) and included the Omicho Fish Market, Nagamachi Samurai District, D.T. Suzuki Museum, Kenroku-en Garden, Kanazawa Castle Park and Kazue & Higashi Chaya District. Yukari had us back in time at the station to catch our return 6.30pm Shinkansen, with some added gift shopping at the station before we left. As a family, Yukari made our day trip to Kanazawa memorable, informative, easy and enjoyable. It was a highlight of our trip. I can recommend Yukari highly, especially the laughter, her professionalism and the beautiful Kanazawa sites shared together that day. Yukari was brilliant!
Thank you very much for your wonderful review!! I am grateful that I was also able to enjoyed the special day with you and your family in Kanazawa. Also I am so happy to know that your trip in Japan had become memorable and I had been able to part of it. I hope I would be able to welcome you all in the future again. Best wishes to you all.
