Sannomiya Station, Kobe
- Meet outside the Central Exit ticket gates at JR Sannomiya Station. I will send a detailed meeting-point photo before the tour.
Sannomiya Night Streets
Start with a short walk through Sannomiya’s backstreets and local dining lanes. Learn how to recognize izakayas, tachinomi bars, and sake-focused venues before beginning dinner.
Stop 1: Local Izakaya — 2 Dishes & 1 Drink
Begin at a relaxed Kobe izakaya with two tasting dishes and one standard drink per guest. The menu may include seasonal small plates, local seafood, grilled food, or another neighborhood favorite. Learn a simple ordering phrase and how shared dishes work in Japan.
Stop 2: Tachinomi — 2 Dishes & 1 Drink
Continue to a lively standing bar for two more tasting dishes and one standard drink per guest. Depending on the venue and season, dishes may include oden, gyoza, grilled items, or a local equivalent. Experience the casual after-work atmosphere enjoyed by Kobe residents.
Stop 3: Kobe Sake Bar — 1 Dish & 1 Drink

Motomachi Night Stroll & Local Recommendations

Nada Sake Brewery and Tasting
The Nada area, which stretches from Kobe City to Nishinomiya City, is home to five breweries, and our tour will visit two of them. The sake produced here is made using mineral-rich underground water known as Miyamizu, and is characterized by its powerful flavor and aroma. It's said that the area supplied 80% of the sake consumed in the Edo period. Why not embark on a journey to discover your favorite sake while touring the breweries and learning about and experiencing the history of the city?
