Through this tour you can enjoy a variety of experiences from sightseeing, cableway riding to hot spring bathing in a single day. Arima-Rokko One-day Pass (¥ 2,360 ) covers all the transportation fee plus the entrance fee for a bath house, Kin no Yu ( the Golden Hot Spring ). I recommend you apply for this tour in spring and late fall. Fresh green and autumn foliage in Mt. Rokko are spectacular at this time of the year.

It is desirable to carry overseas travel insurance because the guide is not liable for any damage or loss incurred during the tour. It is also requested to bring enough Japanese yen with you because some restaurants and taxis do not accept credit cards.
I will be away from home from Dec. 5th till Dec. 7th. So, I cannot answer your messages during the days.
Kin no Yu ( the Golden Hot Spring ) is brownish-red water rich in iron and salinity. If you like, you can enter a bath house, Gin no Yu ( the Silver Hot Spring ). The water is transparent containing radium and carbonate.

We arrived in Kyoto on a rainy November morning, but the weather didn't dampen Yoshie's spirits or his determination to cover all the places we'd hoped to see. From the moment we stepped off the bullet train in Kyoto, we were off and running – sometimes literally, attempting to keep up with the fastest walking guide in Japan! Yoshie modified his "Favorite Golden Route" tour for our short time there, taking us by taxi, local train and on foot to spectacular Kyoto highlights. He was so much fun to be with – knowledgeable, kind, philosophical and thoughtful with a terrific sense of humor. We had a truly memorable experience, and we look forward to one day booking a return tour with Yoshie.
Hi Mary. I appreciate your heartwarming comment on my tour in Kyoto. I feel sorry that you had to catch up with my fast walking pace. However, I am glad that you enjoyed the selected tour sites and my silly jokes. I hope we will cross our pass someday soon. Best wishes. Yoshie

Yoshi takes you to many of the must see sights in Kyoto and explains some of the history behind the location.
Hi Joe. Thank you for your nice comment on my tour, My Favorite Golden Route, in Kyoto. It was pleasant to guide and talk with you and your family. Be sure to get in touch if you have another chance of visiting Kansai district again. Best wishes. Yoshie

We had a wonderful day with Yoshi on his Golden Route. He is a master of his subject, very personal in his manner, and infinitely patient and thoughtful when answering questions. He took us for a delicious lunch (Ramen on a cool, windy day) in a charming family restaurant. Get your steps in preparation, Yoshi is fit and walks quickly from point to point, stopping occasionally to tell a funny tale about the sights or relate a cultural lesson to deepen your understanding of context. We highly recommend Yoshi and Kyoto, a rich historical and beautiful city! Steve
Hi Steve. I appreciate your kind review for my tour in Kyoto. I also had a nice time being with you two, enjoying the beautiful autumn foliage at every temple we visited. I hope you have returned home with lots of nice memories of Japan. Ichigo Ichie. With best wishes. Yoshie

The Golden route tour was our second tour (and second consecutive day) with Yoshie. Yoshie exceeded our expectations on day two as well! We saw so many wonderful places and temples and Yoshie always took his time to tell and teach us about every single place we visited. We had so so so many questions through out the day and Yoshie was always happy to answer them. We never felt we were a bother inquiring about anything and everything. His professionalism speaks volume (he was always so well dressed which we admired, especially since we walked so many miles a day). If we ever needed to stop to shop or take a picture or try matcha ice cream, Yoshie did not mind. He was flexible and patient. We spent some more time with Yoshie after our Golden route tour exploring Kyoto through the Silver route tour and we were glad we did that as there is so much to see. Yoshie, you were incredible and we wish we could had spent even more days with you getting to know you, your culture, the history, and Japan as a whole. We will always remember our time together and laughing all day.
Thank you for your excellent review for my tour, My Favorite Golden Route, in Kyoto. Your interest in our history and culture made me talk more about each place we visited. I also had a very pleasant time guiding and talking with you two. Yoshie
