Learning the history about Hidden Christian in Japan and Amakusa.
Roadside station ( Michino-eki), which used to be a local elementary school. Scarcawes representing local and traditional events will welcome you. You can also have lunch (850 ~1300 JPY)
Museums for the time when Christianity flourished in Amakusa.
A site of World Heritage. Walking at the local fishery village and visiting Sakitsu Church, Saktisu Shrine and Minatoya Museum. You can have lunch here. There are authentic sushi restaurants, Italian restaurants, and Champon noodle restaurants.
The Church was built in the Oe area, where also have many hidden Christians lived. You will see how much Father. Garnier was loved by local people.
The museum focuses on the time of the ban on Christianity.
