“Wonderful Walking Tour with Kiyoko”
I had a great time walking with Kiyoko. The weather was perfect, the scenery spectacular and accompanied by a kind and knowledgeable guide. Kiyoko was very well prepared, friendly and interesting. I had wanted to visit this area for a long time and Kiyoko could provide history, context and make it meaningful, beyond just what I was seeing with my eyes. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to visit Kumano, Nachi Falls etc, to consider spending some of your time with Kiyoko. There is no substitute for a local guide. Thank you Kiyoko!

Simon, thank you very much for your great feedback. I appreciate your warm comment. It was my pleasure that I could be your guide today. You have been dreaming of visiting Nachi waterfall for a long time. It was a great honor for me that I could walk with you when your dream came true. I wish you would have great experiences during the rest of your stay in Japan. Please come back someday!
“Sight seeing and hiking ”
We are so grateful to have met and spent time with Kiyoko who was a terrific guide. As we traveled and achieved all our goals in our 3 day stay in Wakayama. Her knowledge was great and assistance with our 2 year olds needs was super helpful.

“Memorable Day”
Our day with Kiyoko was amazing. She gave us a lot of historical information on the Kumano Kodo while hiking. I loved that she had us do a few stretches before we started and hiked at a good pace. It has been something on my bucket list for years so it was nice to experience a portion of the Pilgrimage and I now hope to do more of it in the near future. Kiyoko was easy to talk with and was very knowledgeable regarding the area, plant and arbor life and was well prepared with literature and pamphlets. Since we arrived in the area before Tourists Information offices were open, I appreciated that she had the information for us. Kiyoko wanted us to see as much of the area as possible and it is obvious that she is so proud to represent this Pilgrimage. She also suggested a wonderful restaurant that was delicious and quite gourmet considering we felt we were far away and into a forest. I would definitely book with her again and would highly recommend her as a guide.

I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and pilgrimage. I hope sometime in the future you can come back to Kumano and find out something that you did not see this time. I will try to train myself to be a better guide. Thank you.
