Nara is one of Japan's most-visited destinations, which means it gets crowded during the day.

Dodge the biggest crowds and enjoy a more intimate experience of the ancient Japanese capital on this early-morning, private tour.

Admire landmarks such as Toudaiji Temple and Nara Park, and Naramachi, home to free-roaming deer, while learning about the rich history of this sacred place.

Thank you for two wonderful days in Kyoto

Dear Miyu, Thank you again for two wonderful days in Kyoto. We truly enjoyed spending time with you. From the very beginning, you made everything feel easy and pleasant. Meeting us at the hotel was such a nice start, and we really appreciated how well you organized our first day. Going together to the local market, choosing ingredients, buying some Japanese sweets, and then preparing takoyaki together in the sharing apartment was a really special experience for us. Sharing that dinner made the whole evening feel warm, personal, and memorable. The second day was just as lovely. Your suggestion to leave early to avoid the crowds at the famous shrine was absolutely the right decision. The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was peaceful, and we could enjoy everything much more. We also loved walking through the old part of Kyoto and visiting a ramen restaurant that felt truly local and authentic. Ending the day at the temple was beautiful, and after returning to the center of Kyoto, we found a small hidden gem where we could sit outside near the arcade and enjoy a beer — a perfect ending to a wonderful day. What made the whole experience even better was you — always smiling, in a good mood, and ready for action. You brought such a positive energy to both days, and it made our time in Kyoto even more enjoyable. Thank you for your kindness, your effort, and for creating such a relaxed and memorable experience for us. We will remember these two days with great pleasure. Warm regards, Domen

Hi Domen, Thank you so much for your kind and heartwarming message! Reading it truly made my day. I also had a wonderful time exploring Kyoto with you. You were so open to trying new things—especially making takoyaki together! It felt more like hanging out with friends than a formal tour, and sharing that dinner at the apartment is one of my favorite memories as a guide too. I’m so glad you enjoyed the early morning visit to the shrine and our little "hidden gem" spot for a beer. It’s those quiet, local moments that make Kyoto so special, and I’m happy I could share them with you. Your energy and constant smiles made my job so easy and fun. Thank you for choosing me to be your guide! Please stay in touch, and I hope to see you again—perhaps for another beer or a new local discovery—whenever you return to Japan. Warm regards, Miyu

Thank you for the wonderful review! I had such a great time exploring Osaka with you. Your energy made the day even more exciting for me as well! I'm so happy that I could help you see the "real" Osaka. Please come back and visit again someday—there is still so much more to show you! Safe travels!

Rickshaw rude was the highlight

We had a wonderful day today in Osaka with our guide Miyu we travelled on many trains to get to Kyoto visiting the Torri Gates Gion Old Town with a lovely authentic Japanese lunch and then onto the bamboo Forrest for a rickshaw ride that was amazing. Miyu managed to get us back to our ship after a very enjoyable but tiring day. Thank you Miyu we couldn’t have done all the things we did without your guidances.
