Let’s enjoy the two statues at the 1,300-year-old Great South Gate, a symbol of Nara, and the Great Buddha Hall.
To stroll from Todaiji temple to Nigetsudo-hall.
From Tōdai-ji, take a peaceful stroll along the beautiful, quiet back path to your next stop — Nigatsu-dō.

Perched on one of the highest points in Nara Park, Nigatsu-dō is a historic hall that forms part of the famous Tōdai-ji Temple.
From its wooden terrace, the view is simply breathtaking — capturing a photo here feels like snapping a piece of a painting.
To take a bus towards Kasuga-Taisha.
We can also take a walk in about 30 minuets from Nigetsu-do hall to Kasuga-shrine if you want to enjoy it.

To take the bus of walk from Kasuga Taisha towards Kofukuji-temple.
If the traffic is heavy, walking might actually be a better option. It takes about 30 minutes, but you’ll be strolling through Nara Park, passing by friendly deer along the way — a fun and memorable experience!
