About Tour Guide Kaori K.
Hello! My name is Kaori.
When I was young I was interested in tourism.
I was studying and working as tour conductor around Kanto area in Japan.
I lived abroad from my early 20s to mid 30s.
Australia, Taiwan, Central America, Great Britain, Spain and Italy.
Now I came back and live in Osaka where I was born.
The reason why I applied for the tour guide is because I was pleased when I guided my foreign friends around Japan.
Me personally love traveling a lot.
Especially trekking in the mountains and MTB trip by myself!
I’ve done El Camino De Santiago in Spain 4times!
Camino francés, Vía de la plata, Camino Norte, Camino de Madrid, Camino de San Salvador, Camino primitivo.
I’ve done Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, too.
I’ve travelled around Morocco, Greece and Italy by MTB :)
I love adventure!
I love to look up sightseeing informations and listen to the story of travelers!
In japan I also lived in several different prefectures such as Osaka, Nara, Wakayama, Tokyo, Kanagawa.
I might be able to guide you not only popular touristic sites but also to local hidden sights!
Please focus things what you like and want!!
I promise to do my best to organize a tour that is consistent with your interests!
Thank you for paying attention for my self-introduction.
I’m looking forward to see you soon.

“Highly recommended!”
Our family enjoyed the tour with Kaori very much. We loved the walking around and especially trying out those things that only a local would know.

“A wonderful reunion with Kaori—this time in Kyoto!”
After a fantastic experience with Kaori in Osaka three years ago, we were absolutely delighted to reconnect with her for tours in Kyoto and Kobe. It was a true pleasure to see her again; it felt less like a formal tour and more like catching up with a dear friend while exploring new cities. Kaori is incredibly adaptable and can seamlessly adjust the itinerary to meet our needs. We highly recommend her tours to anyone looking for a personal and professional experience. Who knows—perhaps we will catch up with her again in a few years if we return. Thank you for everything, Kaori!

Hi Francois :) it was very nice to see you again! Last tour 3years ago was also new years holiday time (31 Dec) so we had limited spot to visit but hung around Osaka all day was unforgettable for me, too. This time, Kyoto & Kobe,,,, even you’ve been to Kyoto before but I’m glad to explore somewhere you’ve never been to :)) And Kobe! I’m so happy you could find good Sake!! It was fun time again! Thank you for sharing your time with me :) Wish we have another chance in the future! See you again!! Kaori

“Excellent guide for our first day in Kyoto”
Kaori is an outstanding guide. She communicated really well ahead of the tour, keeping us informed of weather conditions and willing to adjust time to avoid rain (we ended up starting earlier than planned). She was very attentive and willing to adjust the pace for our 9yo. She was also knowledgeable and kept the tour very interesting. Her English is very good. And more than trying to describe all her many positive points, I would say that I would not hesitate to hire Kaori in the future - I would highly recommend her if you looking for a guide in Kyoto.
