NOTICE: I’m an English only tour guide.
My Spanish & Chinese are conversation level.
I am sorry for people looking for Spanish OR Chinese tour guide.
Hello! My name is Kaori.
When I was young I was interested in tourism.
I was studying and working as tour conductor around Kanto area in Japan.
I lived abroad from my early 20s to mid 30s.
Australia, Taiwan, Central America, Great Britain, Spain and Italy.
Now I came back and live in Osaka where I was born.
The reason why I applied for the tour guide is because I was pleased when I guided my foreign friends around Japan.
Me personally love traveling a lot.
Especially trekking in the mountains and MTB trip by myself!
I’ve done El Camino De Santiago in Spain 4times!
Camino francés, Vía de la plata, Camino Norte, Camino de Madrid, Camino de San Salvador, Camino primitivo.
I’ve done Kumano Kodo pilgrimage, too.
I’ve travelled around Morocco, Greece and Italy by MTB :)
I love adventure!
I love to look up sightseeing informations and listen to the story of travelers!
In japan I also lived in several different prefectures such as Osaka, Nara, Wakayama, Tokyo, Kanagawa.
I might be able to guide you not only popular touristic sites but also to local hidden sights!
Please focus things what you like and want!!
I promise to do my best to organize a tour that is consistent with your interests!
Thank you for paying attention for my self-introduction.
I’m looking forward to see you soon.
LOVE
Kaori
“Oh, Osaka Tour - Oct 2024”
I meant to write this review months ago, but I do have a vivid memory with Kaori as she demonstrated a well planned itinerary for 3 adults. She is well travelled who provides you the ultimate tour of Osaka, or where ever she takes you, she is well prepared to give you a fantastic experience. She is fun, energetic, and truly resourceful in our full day trip of Osaka...like a good friend who is showing her local neighborhood and sharing the treasures of Japan. Well deserved of a 5 star rating, as she customized our tour with our personal interests. Our most memorable is the Museum of Urban Living, as we immerse ourselves in the transition of lifestyles back in the Edo and Meiji era, as we were dressed in our kimono attire! She knows the best eateries with local food of ramen, baked goods, whale meat at the Kuromon Market, and showed us where to purchase Japanese Knives/cutlery at Sakai Ichimonji Mitushide to personalize your name in "kanji". thank you Kaori for an unforgettable experience...we will look you up the next time were are in Japan!!!!

Hi Kathryn! Thank you for your comment! It was fun day with you and your friends to spend time in Osaka :)) I’m glad you’ve got unforgettable time here :) Are you using your kitchen knife?? I have same brand knife, too. It’s really good work! Wish you enjoy cooking more than before :) Happy 2025 & have great days! Kaori
“Two day visit to Kyoto”
Kaori, was the perfect guide for our group of 4 adults, as we changed plans each day and still had everything run smooth. Knowledge about the city history and the must see spots.

“2 Full Fun Filled Days in Kyoto”
We spent 2 full days with Kaori. She is great fun, very engaging and speaks good English. We thoroughly enjoyed our days with her, covering a lot of ground using taxis which we think is the best way to maximise your time as the underground system is not as widespread as in Osaka and Tokyo. This meant we were not rushing away from one place to get to the next and could enjoy a more leisurely lunch having great food and sake in the restaurants she chose for us. We also had time to take a detour in search of a particular gift for someone at home. Would highly recommend choosing Kaori to guide you in any of the areas she covers. You will have fun and learn a lot along the way.
