Scott, thank you for giving me the opportunity to guide you both and for your wonderful review. I was truly impressed by your interest in and insight into the local history and culture. I appreciate your kindness and excellent sense of humor as well. I’ll never forget seeing you take a commemorative photo with a figurine that looked just like you when we visited the pottery shop, which made everyone smile! Your wife is also sincere and smart, and moreover a great walker, which surprised me a lot. I hope you both continue to have wonderful travels together!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. Actually, you two were my last guests of April, and I’m truly grateful that you gave me a great opportunity to reflect on my guiding approach. I intend to continue discovering places and experiences that move me deeply, so that I can share them with my guests. Thanks again, and I wish you all the best!

“More than a Guide – A Truly Thoughtful Kyoto Experience – Expertly Organized and Deeply Caring”
Our day in Kyoto with Michiko was simply outstanding. We arrived from Osaka Airport Hotel in the morning a bit tired from our travels, and Michiko managed to perfectly balance our need for a relaxed pace with our desire to see the iconic sights like the Golden Pavilion and Fushimi Inari. She is incredibly structured, professional, and organized, yet her greatest strength is her empathy. She took wonderful care of us, always mindful of our energy levels. A special highlight was the vegetarian lunch she arranged. Because of my wife’s allergies, we are often cautious, but Michiko found a place where the food was spectacular and the team was perfectly prepared. It was one of our best meals in Japan! Michiko’s English is excellent, and her wide range of interests made every conversation a joy. She is a top-tier guide who truly understands her guests. Thank you, Michiko, for a day we will cherish! Highly recommended! Thanks so much Michiko and all the best4you.

Thank you for the wonderful review. It was a real pleasure to serve as a guide for such a kind and thoughtful couple. I was impressed how much you enjoyed not only Kyoto’s iconic temples, shrines, and historic streetscapes, but also the daily lives of the locals you observed along the way. A 24-hour fitness club—that really is something you’d only find in Japan! Also, I’m glad you and your wife enjoyed the lunch so much. Although it wasn’t traditional Japanese cuisine, it might be the most distinctly Japanese in terms of craftsmanship and the spirit of hospitality. I hope you both stay well, and I wish you continued happiness.
