“Incredible”

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Miko for 3 days in Kyoto and Nara. She is a master of all the things you think about when preparing for a tour, mastery of the subject matter, flexible with scheduling, great communication, adaptable to the group and able to coordinate for the group’s needs. She is all of these things to be sure but mostly we found here to be genuine, kind and very easy to be talk with and learn from. Her knowledge of the local area and specific history both cultural and historic is excellent. If you’re looking for an English speaking guide she not only speaks excellent English, she teaches English in the local schools. I would absolutely recommend Miko for your tour in Kyoto, Nara area. We feel like we made a new friend and very much look forward to connecting again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review. I was truly touched by warm personalities of you and Karin, and it was hard to say goodbye on the last day of the tour. Your travel style, which values experiencing the local traditional culture, nature, and history hands-on, is truly wonderful. I'll never forget these three days spent with you—such as the homey, delicious lunch at the café that felt like visiting grandma's house or cautiously climbing the five-story pagoda and being moved by its solid framework. “What a wonderfull day ”

We had a wonderful day yesterday with our tour guide Michiko. Michiko was very friendly, courteous and always attentive to our wishes. We only had one day in Osaka and Michiko skilfully guided us to the most famous sights in Osaka so that we could see as much of Osaka as possible in one day. Michiko speaks perfect English and knows the history of Osaka extremely well. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with her and can highly recommend Michiko as a tour guide.

“Amazing time in Nara!”

It was my daughter’s birthday wish to go to Nara on her birthday and Mitchiko helped make the day extra special. We all had a fabulous time and managed to see many sights. She also recommended a really nice Ramen restaurant for lunch. We were able to have a flexible itinerary and really enjoyed the day trip from Osaka. Thank you Mitchiko! Hope to see you soon again!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm delighted you enjoyed a winter day in Nara for your daughter's birthday. Hearing about your family stories and the futures of teenagers like them was a great joy. Also seeing your daughter gently feeding the deer crackers while talking to them warmed my heart.
