Osaka Castle was a part during the Japanese unification on the 16th century. In 1614-1615, was held the Osaka Battle where Toyotomis felt and Tokugawas totally established their autority as Shoguns of Japan. There are lots of Historical remains in the park. The Castle was rebuilt in 1931. It is outside a replica of the original castle. Inside, it is a museum about samurais and the siege of Osaka.

Osaka Castle Park is around the castle and have many historical remains. We go out Morinomiya Station and head up to the park.

We arrive near the Huge stone at Kyobashiguchi entrance where we can know more about how Japanese castles were built.
Tomb of Toyotomi Hideyori
We will visit the tomb of Toyotomi Hideyori, unlucky castle master who were defeated during the Osaka battle (1615).
Osaka Castle
Osaka Castle is a close replica of the original castle. Inside, it is a museum about samurais and the siege of Osaka (1614-1615).
Miraiza
Miraiza is a building near Osaka Castle. Here, we can buy souvenirs, have some Japanese snacks or food and know more about this castle's History.

Osaka does have a rich history and monuments from the 3rd Century and before (available to see in other tours), however the tour you booked is focused on the modern side of the city for 4 hours. We also visited Tsuyunoten Jinja, which dates from the 9th century. I hope you enjoyed Osaka during your trip.
