“Four days with Nikki in Kyoto and Osaka”

Our family of six adults and one infant had the pleasure of spending two days in both Kyoto and Osaka. She was beyond flexible through several months of planning with many iterations of our agenda...driven by us. Nikki worked hard to help secure difficult to get tickets to the Osaka Grand Sumo Tournament, one of the highlights of the trip. We elected to plan areas of the cities each day with no specific plans, just free-styling through the day. Nikki was fantastic with providing recommendations of sites to see, restaurants to experience, while leading us seamlessly with transportation. A special thanks for booking an excellent dinner reservation for our final celebration of the trip and birthday! Our criteria selecting a guide included world experience, city knowledge, good energy, and fun. All those attributes were met with Nikki. Thank you so much for magnifying a memorable visit to Japan, we look forward to our next experience of a beautiful country with warm and friendly people!

“What a wonderful day and a wonderful experience in Kyōto! ”

The day with Nikki was simply wonderful. Since the weather wasn’t really good, we were able to change our plans right away. What I especially liked was that she has already seen a lot of the world – that makes her not only a great guide, but also an experienced and very pleasant conversation partner. Thank you as well for the truly exceptional culinary experience – I will always remember it. Thank you, Nikki! I hope that on my next visit to Japan we can see the places we skipped this time because of the weather and the many tourists. Thumbs up, 5/5!

“Nikki is a flat out star! ”

We cannot give high enough praise for Nikki. She is an absolute gem of a person, let alone guide. Her knowledge of Japan is fantastic, especially the Kansai region. Humble, funny, personable; you will be relaxed within minutes of meeting her. We are not kidding when we say she is practically family after spending the day together.
