The mother of all combo tours!

Begin the day by going back in time to 16th century Japan while exploring Osaka Castle.

If you are hungry after laying siege to the Fortress Walls, we can try and sample the world famous Fluffy Pancakes.

Then we will visit the quirky Korean Town in Osaka before riding the train East to Nara to make friends with Bambi and see the amazing Temples.

Finally, ride the train back to Osaka where I will drop you off at a Michelin Star Ramen located inside the station.

Meeting Point

Tanimachi 4-Chome Station

- I can meet you at your hotel in Osaka or outside the McDonalds at Tanimachi 4-Chome Station

Osaka Castle

Start with Osaka Castle. One of the most interesting and historic castles in Japan.

I know many nice photo spots, some a little more secret than others. Plus, it is always nice to walk through the park, no matter the season.

Fluffy Pancakes (Optional, also requires some luck)

Cafe & Pancake Gram.

This is the restaurant where the world renowned 'Japanese Fluffy Pancakes' originated from.

Totally optional, but almost all of guests ask me where we to go for pancakes, this is the place.

If you want to go, we need to line up at exactly 10:15, order at 10:30 and then wait 20 minutes for them to make the delicious pancakes from scratch.

12:00 PM

Tsuruhashi

This is the wonderful, quirky Korea Town of Osaka.

It's narrow streets are vibrant and colorful and the street food is great (if we don't fill up on pancakes that is).

A little bit of a hidden spot!

Nara Station

From Tsuruhashi, we can ride the trin directly to Nara station.

This train takes approximately 30 minutes and is actually a very scenic ride.

Nara is also a good location for lunch (again, if you decide against pancakes, although I know another good restaurant in Nara for pancakes too!)

Yoshikien Garden and Himuro Shrine

These are some nice, quiet, secret spots that I like to bring people to.

They are both free to enter and will provide a beautiful contrast to the big city life of Osaka.

Nara Park

The famous Nara Park where brave souls can have fun feeding deer, although I prefer to watch and laugh to be honest.

There are some less chaotic places to feed them that I can take you too.

Todaiji Temple

One of Japan's most famous and significant Temples.

800Yen entry but maybe the best 800 Yen you will spend in Japan

Nara Station

We will walk back to the station and maybe see some more places along the way time permitting.

Then it is a 45minute train ride to Namba in Osaka.

04:40 PM

Osaka-Namba Station and Michelin Star Ramen

We take the train back to Namba station.

Here we can say goodbye and I can drop you off at a Michelin Star Ramen restaurant inside the station. There is usually a little bit of a line but it is well worth it.

Or we can explore a little bit of Namba with the time we have left.

* This tour involves a lot of walking, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes.

* There is no guarantee to get the Fluffy Pancakes but we can try our best.

* If you want to try and get the pancakes, we need to be at the restaurant at 10:15, this means we should aim to get to Osaka from either the meeting point or your hotel at 9am sharp.

* Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.

* This is a walking tour using public transportation. Train fare, admission fees and lunch are not included in the guide's fee.
