Explore Grand Green Osaka starting from Umeda Station
This nature-integrated urban space is built around the 4.5-hectare Ume-kita Park, divided into South and North Parks. It offers wide lawns, soothing water features, and creative art zones. We'll enjoy a relaxing walk through the grassy open space.
Urban Garden Forest
Before entering the Umeda Sky Building, we’ll take a short detour to visit the ‘Nakashizen no Mori’ (Urban Garden Forest) at its base. This tranquil green space, nestled in the heart of the city, offers a refreshing contrast to the skyscraper’s futuristic architecture. With winding paths, flowing water, and lush trees, it's a peaceful spot for a stroll and a moment of calm before heading up to the observatory.
Umeda Sky Building
At an altitude of 173 meters, it features an open-air rooftop observation deck. With no roof overhead, you can enjoy a refreshing breeze while taking in panoramic views of Osaka. The scenery varies with the seasons and times of day, making it an incredibly photogenic spot.
On a clear day, you can see Awaji Island, Mount Rokko, and the Seto Ohashi Bridge to the west; Universal Studios Japan to the south; Osaka Castle’s main tower to the east; and Expo ’70 Commemorative Park to the north.

“Unforgettable Osaka Tour with Rina!”
We spent a fantastic afternoon exploring Osaka with Rina, and I can’t recommend her enough! From the moment the tour began, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of knowledge about the city’s history, food, and culture. The food tour was a real highlight—each stop introduced us to unique local dishes, and Rina had great stories to go with them. Her city sightseeing portion was just as impressive, guiding us through must-see spots and hidden gems with ease. What really stood out were the helpful tips she shared throughout the day, from navigating local transit to discovering great places to eat and explore after the tour.
