We do not have good public transportation system in Sado like JR.
Until quite recently, We were not allowed to drive cars when we were the tour guides.
The government revised laws and ordinances lately. We, tour guides, can drive our own cars and rental cars for tourists, now.
Taxi is safe and comfortable but it's fare is expensive,7000 yen an hour.
Rental car fare is approximately 10000 yen including full car insurance for 8 hours. If you are afraid of driving a car in Sado, I will drive it.

900 apple trees.I grow 10 kinds of apples and 4 kinds of pears with my wife.

Sado is a fascinating and picturesque island with scenic spots ,historical places and relics,traditional performing arts,delicious dishes and so on. “Wonderful Sado Island Tour”
Our day tour of Sado Island with Kei was the highlight of our trip to Japan. First of all, communication prior to our tour was easy and Kei responded quickly. We set up the itinerary beforehand taking in his helpful suggestions. Kei's English is very good and he is a nice, humble person who obviously loves Sado Island. We were impressed with his knowledge of each area we visited, especially the Gold Mines. Any question we asked, he answered. He was so comfortable to be with. At day's end, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend. We highly recommend Kei as a tour guide of Sado Island!

“Fantastic tour with Keichi on Sado Island”
We had a wonderful day-long tour with Keichi-san. He had very good ideas for the tour leaving from Aikawa towards Ogi stopping at many great sites and temples. He was very accomodating for my husband who needs walking sticks. His historic knowledge was excellent and we learned so much about Sado from him. I appreciated his arrangement with the monk at at he Rabbit Buddhist temple for a private tour. Te Toli sanctuary was a good visit. I highly recommend Kei as a tour guide. Alys Wall
