Hi, I am Rieko, you can call me Ricky. I am a National licensed English speaking tour guide.
I was born in Yokohama, the neighboring city of Tokyo, and have lived there for a long time. So, I know a lot about Tokyo and the surrounding cities, such as Yokohama, Kamakura, Hakone, and Nikko.
My favorite things to do are traveling and talking with people. I have traveled more than 30 countries in the world and talked with a lot of people worldwide. And it is fun to host people from all over the world.
Cooking and eating are also one of my favorite things to do. Japan has a unique and a great food culture, and it is a great pleasure if I can introduce you various kinds of food you have never eaten before, and help you enjoy your stay in Japan.

Just finished a wonderful tour of Tokyo with Rieko. On a very hot day nothing was any trouble. I altered some of the planned itinerary at the last minute. Not a problem. So very friendly, helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. Even going as far as offering me her own personal cooling fan on a sweltering hot day. Saw lots of the city's sights, had excellent food, plenty of water and toilet breaks. Had a fabulous day with a wonderful lady. Michael

Although it was an extremely hot day, we managed to visit many places and had so many good conversations that the day passed in no time. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to join you in Yokohama, but I highly recommend visiting Sankeien Garden. It is a truly beautiful garden. Its founder, Sankei Hara, is considered a great benefactor of Yokohama and is also known for preserving Japan’s traditional art. You can learn more about him at the museum inside the garden. Ich habe in Tokyo studiert, deswegen kenne ich mich gut auch in dieser Gegend aus. An der Uni habe ich Germanistik studiert. Mein erstes Mal in Deutschland war 2012, als ich Studentin war, und damals habe ich einen Monat in München einen Deutschkurs gemacht. Da habe ich viel erlebt und erfahrt und war total begeistert für die deutsche Kultur, Sitten, einfach alles, natürlich Leute auch :) Nach dem Studium bin ich nach Deutschland (München und Augsburg) geflogen, um richtig Deutsch zu lernen. In den Schulzeiten habe ich viele Erfahrungen in der Gastronomie gesammelt. In Deutschland habe ich als Kellnerin in einem japanischen Restaurant und Japanischlehrerin gearbeitet. Aktuell bin ich auch private Japanischlehrerin (ich habe auch einen Vertrag mit der amerikanischen Marine) und gelegentlich Reiseführerin. Mein Hobbies sind Reisen, Lesen, Kochen, etwas Süßes backen usw. Ich würde Sie sehr gerne Tokyo bzw Yokohama oder Kamakura und Yokosuka zeigen :)
