“Five Stars for an Unforgettable Experience with Seigo!”
Our family adventure to Mount Fuji and Hakone was exceptionally guided by Seigo, a personal guide whose professionalism and dedication transformed our day into an unforgettable journey. From the get-go, Seigo exhibited strong communication, detailing our day's itinerary and ensuring we were all set for an early morning start right from our hotel at 7 am. The highlight for my children, aged 11 and 12, was unquestionably the morning hike at Arakurayama Sengen Park, we embarked on a challenging yet immensely rewarding 40-45 minute trek, culminating in a breathtaking view of Mount Fuji that will be etched in our memories forever. It's a testament to Seigo's planning that, despite the hike's demands, it turned out to be the highlight for my kids, marking a pinnacle in their Japan experience. Lunch was another delightful moment, as Seigo introduced us to Sushiro. It wasn't just the food that was amazing; the affordability was a pleasant surprise – a rare find in tourist areas that Seigo skillfully navigated us to. The day continued with a visit to see the Owakudani Valley, followed by a serene pirate ship ride down Lake Oshinoko. Even with the day packed with activities, Seigo's scheduling was impeccable, ensuring he was always there, waiting to guide us to our next adventure without feeling rushed. Our journey through Hakone, enriched by Seigo's insightful narration on the history and significance of each site, painted a picture of Japan that was as educational as it was enchanting. Despite encountering traffic on our return, Seigo managed to bring us home by 6:30pm, closing the day smoothly. Seigo wasn't just a guide; he was a cornerstone of our Japan experience, solving any issue and answering every question with patience and expertise. I cannot recommend him enough. If you're seeking a knowledgeable, personable, and truly exceptional guide for your travels in Japan, requesting Seigo is the way to go!

Jenny san, Thank you for writing such a wonderful review of our tour. I also enjoyed our journey to Mt. Fuji and Hakone with you and your kids. They are wonderful and innocent, just as children should be. You were fortunate to appreciate Fujisan, which was more beautiful than usual, from many different locations that day. Your family also made it to the top of the hill by climbing some 400 steps to have one of the stunning views of that day. Honestly, I thought traveling in the two areas from and to Tokyo in one day was not a piece of cake, but we got it done thanks to your cooperation and understanding of my plan, which was just amazing. I appreciate you here. I hope to see you and your kids again! Seigo

“Seigo is the best! ”
The three of us had a wonderful time with Seigo. He was perfect from the start, helping me with our half day planning and providing all the little coordination details to make the day very smooth. Execution on the day of was flawless and his driving is also superb. If we had more time to explore other areas, we would have booked Seigo again as he has lots of local spots to suggest that is more exciting that just the typical tour locations. We hope to see him again on our future trips! P.S. He is also fantastic with photos and will make sure to capture great shots for your entire group.

Amy san, Domo Arigato for spending time in writing a wonderful review for me. I am so grateful. You were fortunate to be able to see Mt. Fuji from different points. I was very happy to take you guys to such places. Also thanks for posting the picture of us at the restaurant. I will never forget the moments we shared in Hakone. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in Japan and have a safe trip home. Chao! Seigo

Highlights of Tokyo 1-Day Itinerary by public transportaton with a licensed guide

“Awesome Highlights of Tokyo 1-Day”
With no time to plan and very little research, I hastily booked a stop in Tokyo during legs of international travel. I found Seigo's profile online and we started exchanging messages via GoWithGuide. He massively helped me optimise my time to see some great wonders of the city. I expressed a desire to immerse myself in Tokyo, so Seigo suggested we ride the trains, walk around some of the famous shopping areas, dine in a carousel restaurant, and of course see the major shrines. This is exactly what we did, and it was a blast! We began the day with Seigo meeting me outside my hotel – he was prompt at our meeting time and had an itinerary with a few options ready to discuss. We ran through the list and then set off, walking to the train station to ride to the Meiji shrine. At the shrine, Seigo was a fountain of information about the shrine itself, landmarks, cultural significance, and more. I had lots of questions – Seigo was great in entertaining all my queries and was fun to talk to. He also had some great advice on dos and don’ts at the shrine. From there, we visited fun parts of the city, including the Shibuya Scramble Crossing, the five-storied pagoda in Sensoji Temple, many shopping streets, and finally the Tokyo Tower. As a guide, Seigo was great – he has expansive knowledge of the city and sights, and at every stop he asked me what I was most interested in. There were several times during the day we set about a new direction based on my input as we went along – he was really flexible, and that made everything easy and fun. At the end of the day, Seigo rode the train back to the station nearest to my hotel. I was happy to walk back on my own (about 1k), but he made sure I had the route set on Google maps, and then checked-in later to verify I’d made it home alright. Overall, Seigo was a pleasure to be with, planned a really fun day, and adapted on-the-fly to my preferences, making everything simply a delight. I highly recommend Seigo as a guide.

Hi Steve, thank you for booking my two-day tour. You were too busy to see many things in Tokyo and around Fujisan, but I tried to meet your requests, including the highlights and a few off-the-beaten-path places. I am pleased you enjoyed Day 1 traveling around Tokyo by train and subway. Looking down from the observatory of Tokyo Tower may have given you an idea that Tokyo is just huge. I hope you return shortly to have much more fun in the big city. Seigo
