【PRIVATE CAR TOUR】1 Day tour to Takayama, Historic Old Town, from Kanazawa

We will spend 4 hours including lunch.
We visit Jinya, Old street, Sake brewery, and Onoya soy sauce shop

Inclusions & Exclusions
The guiding fee, pickup and drop off at your hotel,

Entrance fee for both participants and the guide,
Jinya (440yen per person)
lunch for both participants and the guide. (1000~2000yen. If you would like to have hida beef, it would cost 5000-10,000yen per person. Please let me know you preferences and budget)
Tour Important Information
The tour duration would be 8 hours, starting from Kanazawa and ending at Kanazawa. I will be the guide but also your private driver.
Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies, other dietary restrictions or food preferences.
This tour includes the guiding fee, pickup and drop off, a private car with driver, gas, highway tolls, and parking fees.
This tour excludes lunch and entrance fee for both participants and the guide.
This tour doesn't take you to Shirakawago but it is negotiable to go to both Takayama and Shirakawago in this tour. The total cost would be changed. Please contact me if you are interested in visiting both sites.

“A day in Kanazawa and a wonderful drive through Hakuzan National Park”
We had a wonderful and full day with Yoji. We started with the Kanazawa castle and then walked through some historic parts of town including the Samurai district. We stopped in at two samurai homes, one quite modest and the other quite grand. Yoji provided tremendous incite and knowledge about Kanazawa's rich history and added a more current context. We then went to the food market where we had a wonderful lunch from three different food stores (yaki-niku, puffer fish and fried eel and shrimp). We ended the day with a beautiful drive through Hakuzan National forest where we were able to see dramatic fall colors during our last day outside of Tokyo. We were ending a month long trip to Japan and feared missing the fall colors. Yoji came up with the perfect solution. Yoji was enthusiastic, fun and a tremendous resource. Thank you for a wonderful day.

“Fantastic Kanazawa Guide”
We planned a 1/2 day guided walk in Kanazawa and lucked out! Yoji was not only an excellent guide for this ancient city and its most interesting sites, but also a resource for small and unique local shops and special restaurants (that we visited and loved!). Our time with Yogi expanded on day 1 and we hired him for a second half day. Thank you Yogi for sharing your knowledge of this charming city and all of its special places. We didn’t want to leave!
