Takayama
Nestled in Central Japan's mountains, Takayama boasts a beautifully preserved Edo Period (1603-1868) historical center, known as the ‘Sannomachi’. This charming old town, once a thriving merchant hub, showcases skilled craftsmanship in its Edo Period buildings. Visitors can wander its narrow streets lined with black-fronted buildings housing museums, galleries, sake breweries, and craft shops, making it a must-visit destination for those seeking Japan's rich history and traditional charm.

The guiding fee, pickup and drop off at your hotel,
Car and car related fee such as its insurance, gas, highway tolls and parking fee.
Car type: Toyota Crown
Entrance fee for both participants and the guide, lunch for both participants and the guide.
Entrance fee for the house in Shirakawago 400 yen per person
Sake brewery visit(option) +4000yen per person
If participants are more than 3, please feel free to ask me the price of car.
Tour Important Information
1, This tour starts at Kanazawa and ends up at Kanazawa. I will pick you up at your hotel. I can drop you off at Takayama if your next destination is Takayama. however, the price will remain the same since the guide needs to go back to Kanazawa.
2, I am a guide but also a private diver during this tour. The tour fee includes guiding fee, pickup fee, car, highway tolls, parking lot and gas. This tour excludes entrance fee for both the guide and participants, and lunch for both the guide and participants.
3, Please let me know if you have any food allergies or other dietary restrictions.

“An amazing day in Toyama”
Yoji was the absolute best guide. My sister and I had a fabulous day with him. He is very well educated in the United States so has an excellent mastery of the English language. He was also extremely flexible when we mentioned things we wanted to do and planned the perfect day for us according to our interests. He suggested some excellent stops to see beautiful wood carving we had not thought to see and found a great place for us to have a fabulous Japanese lunch. We enjoyed talking with Yogi about his beautiful young family and his life in Japan. I just wish we had more days that we could have spent with him.

“Great day visiting Shirakawago”
Yoji was not only extremely knowledgeable of the area, but he is a super nice guy and seems to really understand what his clients are looking for in the tour. He is flexible with schedule and helped us to navigate the train system, actually stopping by the station with us and helping get the right tickets for the rest of our visit. Highly recommend Yoji.
