Did you know that the famous Fushimi Inari is not just a shrine? It is build on a holy mountain with thousands of red torii gates spread along the hiking trails!
In this tour I want to show you some secret walks, where you have a view of the many beautiful red shrine gates without the tourist crowds while also enjoying the nature. It is an easy 3-hour-hike!

I studied at the University of Leipzig in Germany and got great experience through an exchange term there. My wife is German, so I'm always in an international environment, learning about different cultures.

Wir, 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder aus Österreich, hatten einen großartigen Tag und können die Tour mit Yuta nur wärmstens empfehlen. In this tour, guests will be guided half-day tour which starts from just beside one of the famous tourist spot "Silver temple". The trail starts from well-maintained road, getting gently increase in slope. Then we suddenly jump into an open space which is called "Hidoko (fire bed)" where Kyoto's biggest festival ”Okuribi (bonfire)" is held. Great panoramic view of Kyoto city is also available here.
