Toshiyo made our tour of Kyoto something we will remember and cherish forever. She was knowledgeable and provided fascinating insights. She was receptive and flexible and made sure we got the most out of the experience. If you are looking for a guide, I can say with complete confidence that there is no one better than Toshiyo., I should not fail to add that she was nice, and loads of fun.
Thank you very much for having me as a guide and the kind review. Yesterday was a great day for walking tour. I hope you enjoyed and love Japan and come back. Regards Toshiyo
We loved our two days with Toshiyo! Being a large group of 9 people with adults and teenagers (adult siblings with their spouses and children) we relied on Toshiyo to keep us all together amidst the crowds, ensure everyone was engaged in the sights we saw. An unexpected highlight was when she took us to a restaurant off the beaten path that served traditional local food that people in Kyoto would eat. It was fantastic and inexpensive. Toshiyo took us to the key sights of Kyoto including the monkey park, Gion, Nara, shrines, temples, etc and navigated us on buses and various trains that we would have had great difficulty trying to sort out on our own. Her English was excellent and she was very flexible. Toshiyo was exactly the kind of local tour guide that I seek out when I travel. Knowledgeable, able to communicate well, happy to accommodate the needs of the group (hunger, bio breaks, etc). Thank-you so much Toshiyo for such a wonderful experience in Kyoto! My extended family will have many wonderful memories of Kyoto to cherish thanks to you!!
Hi Julie Thank you very much for having me as a guide for two days. I really hope you all enjoyed Kyoto and Nara. I appreciate your kind review. Thank you. You have such a beautiful and smart and lovely family. I was much impressed. Regards. Toshiyo
Toshiyo did great being patient and working with our family. We have a 4 and 2 year old so lots of moving parts. She planned us seeing the Nijo Castle and the Golden Temple and the Nashiki Market. It was very helpful for her help with transportation and her knowledge about the sites made it so we could see them quickly which was nice with two young kids. We definitely recommend her for your guide needs.
Thank you for the kind review, Karen. I hope you enjoyed Kyoto. I felt bad about skipping the break although you used a lot of energy moving up and down with small children. But your review made me very happy. Thank you very much for having me as a guide. Regards. Toshiyo
