Explore a one-of-a-kind forest inhabited by foxes, that visitors can walk through. Inside this gated area, you can see approximately 100 free-ranging foxes, and they are categorized into 8 species. Zao fox village is located on the outskirts of Sendai city, about 1 hour drive away. This village has attracted tremendous numbers of visitors worldwide because you can actually cuddle a gentle and Echinococcus-free foxes.

Meeting Point
At your hotel in Sendai downtown
Arrive at Zao Fox Village
Once we arrive at the village, we will check-in at administration office. Observing the strolling around and relaxing semi-wild foxes.
Fox Cuddle Session
The village staff will explain the tips of how to cuddle the foxes. They will provide two pieces of outfits to cover upper your torso and leg, so that your wearings won't get any mud and stain. The foxes will be randomely brought to you, and unfortunately you don't get to choose. You will be amazed by how fluffy the fox tail is.
Leave for Sendai City
After the cuddle session, let's have a look at the shop and find some souvenirs for the memory. At noon 12 pm, we will depart from the village and head back to Sendai.
Ending Point
Back to your hotel by 1:30 pm
