Established in 768 AD, it is dedicated to the protection of the city and is deeply connected to the powerful Fujiwara family. The shrine is surrounded by a lush forest, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy walking along the lantern-lit paths, especially magical during seasonal festivals when the lanterns are lit up at night.
