Gare Kashiharajingu-Mae
Sanctuaire shinto Kashihara-jingu
Kashihara-jingu est bâti sur le lieu du siège de gouvernement supposé de l'empereur Jinmu de -660 à -585. Nous sommes dans la ville de Kashihara, dans le département de Nara et dans l’ancienne province de Yamato. Cette région abritaient les capitales tournantes du proto-Japon.
Mausolée de l'empereur Jinmu
Un peu plus loin, après une petite marche de 20 minutes à travers le parc, nous arrivons devant le mausolée de l’empereur Jinmu. Ce mausolée est constitué de plusieurs portails puis d’une colline où repose l’empereur. L’enceinte est donc protégée et nous pouvons juste nous poster devant pour souhaiter un bon repos au fondateur du Japon.
Imai-cho, ville traditionnelle japonaise
Après avoir visité le proto-Japon et Meiji au sanctuaire shinto Kashihara-jingu, nous pouvons nous rendre au quartier d’Imai-cho, ville traditionnelle japonaise, au sein même de Kashihara dans le département de Nara. Nous descendons à la gare Kintetsu Yaginishiguchi, nous passons le pont Sobu et nous y sommes.
Centre d'informations Hanairaka
En arrivant dans le quartier, nous pouvons visiter le centre d’informations Hanairaka, à l’architecture mi-japonaise, mi-occidentale de Meiji, qui nous donne - comme son nom l’indique - plus d’informations sur ce quartier.
Temple Shonen-ji
La ville est fondée comme dépendance du temple bouddhique Shonen-ji, temple lui même dépendant de la maison mère Hongan-ji, entre 1532 et 1555 lors de l’époque des provinces en guerre (1477-1573). Le temple trône d’ailleurs toujours au milieu du quartier et nous pouvons le visiter.
Maisons traditionnelles japonaises
Certaines maisons du quartier font porte-ouverte, notamment l’ancienne résidence Yometani, le centre Imai-Machiya et la résidence Kawai. Nous pouvons même monter au premier étage de l’Imai-Machiya, et voir une chambre en hauteur d’une maison traditionnelle de style Edo mais rénovée récemment. L’expérience est rare et très intéressante!

Full-Day Guided Tour in a Japanese Mountain: Yoshino, Nara
“Had a great time with Mouloud guiding us.”
Mouloud does not just guide us, he tells us the historical background of Mt Yoshino and how some of the Japanese culture and history relates to the mountain, temples and shrines. It was educational. Mouloud was also patience with us as we have a member of the group who couldn’t move as fast as the others. Overall, it was a good day trip. Tiring but enjoyable. Thanks Mouloud. TC

“Wonderful half day Nara tour with Mouloud”
I had an excellent half day tour with Mouloud in Nara. We visit many places including Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Todaiji, Bald Mountain and the Nara park. I learned a lot from Mouloud's explanation about the above places and they made me appreciate Nara more. I especially remember his guidance on how to feed Nara's deer. Thank you so much for making my trip to Nara enjoyable and I'd definitely recommend him as a guide to everyone who wants to visit Nara.
