We visit Kurashiki Bikan historical area and walk along the stream with willows beside it. You see old houses and rice warehouses. Now they are used as a museum or shops. After that we visit Korakuen Park. It was one of three most famous parks in Japan. It was created for Tsunamasa Ikeda , the lord of Okayama Han in Edo Period. We also visit Okayama Castle.

“Private tour with Yoko M”
We requested Yoko because all the great reviews. We had a special request to try to find my grandfather's burial site. She went beyond what I expected while doing research for me with some back and forth messages. Along with other sites we were able to locate his grave area and found the site to honor our lineage. “Delightful day on Naoshima”
Meeting Yoko at the port was easy. Then the rest of the day was engaging as she led us around the various art sights and highlights of the island. Even to helping us plan our return to Okayama wasn’t any trouble. Truly a wonderful day.

“Lovely tour with Yoko around Okayama”
Yoko met us at our Hotel for our 6 hour tour around Okayama, including Korakuen Park and Kurashiki. Korakuen Park was so beautiful, and Yoko provided interesting commentary about its history. We could easily have stayed longer. After lunch we made our way to the historical Kurashiki Bikan district. It was lovely strolling through this area and learning about its history. We would recommend Yoko if you are looking for relaxed pace tour with an informative guide.

Art Island "Naoshima” one day trip
Naoshima is an art island. There are good art museums in this island, Chichu Art Museum, Benesse House Museum, Valley Gallery, Lee Ufan Museum and so on. You can enjoy House Art Project. You can enjoy outside works in the island. The most famous outside works are two red and yellow pumpkins by Yayoi Kusama. The scenery of Seto Inland Sea is very beautiful. You can walk along the beach and hear the sound of the waves and beautiful view of the sea and the islands.
