When you don't want to join the crusing, you can visit Jeans Street in Kojima instead. Kojima is the town which made jeans for the first time in Japan. There are many jeans shops and jeans factories.

“Beautiful and relaxed day in.Kurashiki”
We ( my husband, our 19 year old son and I) spent a wonderful day with Yoko in Kurashiki. We met Yoko at Okayama Station and then took the train to Kurashiki. We vistited a doll exhibition, took a gondola ride and Yoko arranged a lunch in an excellent restaurant. It was a relaxed and beautiful day. Thanks Yoko

“Informative and Relaxing Day Trip”
My day trip hosted by Yoko-san was very enjoyable. If you're looking for an unhurried, relaxed pace, this tour is for you. Yoko-san met me at my hotel and at the end of the tour, rode the train with me back to my station. The itinerary was flexible and special reservations were made in advance for an excellent lunch. Thank you Yoko-san for your lovely company!
