- Meet in front of the main entrance of Osaka Takashimaya, directly beside Nankai Namba Station. I will send a detailed meeting-point photo before the tour.

Begin with atmospheric Hozenji Yokocho and the neon lights of Dotonbori. Hear how Osaka’s merchant and entertainment culture shaped the city’s food scene, and take evening photos before heading into the local dining streets.

Walk to Ura-Namba and Local Food Streets

Leave the busiest part of Dotonbori and walk into Ura-Namba’s narrower dining streets. Learn how to recognize sushi counters, yakitori shops, izakayas, and standing bars before settling in for dinner.

First Dining Stop: Osaka Flavors

Sit down for the main meal of the evening. A set selection of dishes and one drink each are included in the tour price. I choose the restaurant and dishes from a small group of places I trust, depending on what is best that evening.

Move to a contrasting local venue for one signature dish and another included drink, sake, or a non-alcoholic option. This is where Osaka locals unwind at the end of the day. We settle in, order like regulars, and enjoy the evening at your own pace.

Finish with a relaxed walk through Ura-Namba’s evening streets. Take final photos and receive personalized recommendations based on the foods, drinks, and atmosphere you enjoyed.

* Please share all allergies, dietary restrictions, disliked foods, and drink preferences before the tour.

* All food and drinks are included in the tour price. The first stop is a sit-down meal with a set selection of dishes, the second stop is one signature dish, and one drink of your choice is included at each stop.

* Additional dishes and drinks beyond what is included can be ordered and paid to the restaurant directly.

* Dishes are selected on the day from each restaurant's menu, so specific dishes cannot be guaranteed in advance. This is a relaxed local dinner rather than a luxury course. If you are hoping for premium sushi or wagyu beef, please contact me before booking.

* Vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten-free, and other requests may be possible, but choices at small local restaurants are limited. Vegan guests must confirm whether fish stock, eggs, and dairy products are acceptable.

* Alcohol is available only to guests aged 20 or older. A non-alcoholic version is available at the same price.

* The tour includes approximately 2 km of walking on mostly flat streets. Please wear comfortable shoes.

* Restaurants may change because of closing days, full occupancy, seasonal menus, or dietary needs. The Namba route and two-stop structure will remain consistent.

* Some traditional venues may permit smoking. Please request non-smoking venues before booking.

* The tour operates in light rain. Please bring an umbrella when rain is forecast.

* Groups of five or more require prior consultation.
