Tour Important Information
- This tour involves a moderate amount of walking, especially at temples and around the Koyasan area, so please wear comfortable shoes.
- Some paths may include stairs or uneven terrain, so this tour is not recommended for those with severe back or knee problems.
- The tour is not fully wheelchair accessible due to certain areas with steps or narrow paths.
- Please let me know in advance if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, especially for meal stops at local restaurants.
- Dress appropriately for the season, as Koyasan can be cooler than surrounding areas, especially in autumn and winter.
- If you would like to include specific temples or activities, please share your preferences in advance to customize your experience.
- The tour includes transportation in my car, but you may need to walk between nearby attractions once we park.

This is not my first trip to Japan and I’m traveling solo. I really want to visit a place in Nara that is only accessible by car. I booked Shu for a personalized tour without thinking too much. I have to say Shu had exceed all my expectations! He is really friendly and flexible. We met at Nara station and he drove me to the highland near Nara. I felt really easy around him. We talked about Japanese culture, his travel experiences and my travel experiences. He really feels like a friend that I’ve known for a long time. He helped me to take photos when we got there and hiked with me to the mountain. He is a good photographer. He also helped me to book a restaurant that I really want to visit. I would highly recommend Shu to any traveler, just because he is very personable and flexible. The experience made me felt like home hanging out with a good friend! I will definitely book Shu again for my future travels!
