At your hotel (only when you stay inside Osaka City; otherwise please come to Tanimachi Yonchome Station (Osaka Metro))
The castle is one of the most famous spots in Osaka. It was originally built in the 16th century and played a major role in Japan's history. You can enjoy the park surronging the castle tower and a panoramic view of the city from the top of the castle tower.
This is the longest shopping arcade in Japan and also one of the most traditional ones in Osaka. This is rarely appeared on popular guidebooks but it has been loved by local citizens for more than 350 years (the most traditional one in Osaka!), and it longs 2.6 km (1.6 miles) with nearly 600 shops. You can enjoy shopping and stroling on the most traditional shopping arcade in Japan.
The museum is in the Tenjimbashisuji Shopping Street. It shows us a traditional Japanese life-style. The museaum has a re-creation of Osaka city 200 years ago, then you can experience "time-travel" to pre-modern Japan.
This shrine has a history of nearly 1,000 years, according to historical records. Originally the shrine was built to pray for the end of the pandemic. Although not often mentioned in foreign guidebooks, the shrine has attracted a lot of attention in recent years as a very unique and mysterious (maybe instagramming as well) spot.
"Minami" refers to the southern part of Osaka, which is a popular tourist destination in the city. The area is known for its entertainment including anime or other Japanese sub-cultures, shopping spots, and food cultures. Dotombori is the most popular spot in "Minami" and it is well known for its colorful neon signs and bustling atmosphere. Here you can sample some of Osaka's famous street food, such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki, and shop for souvenirs. If you wish to stay and have dinner here, you can disband here instead of at the hotel.
At your hotel, Dotombori, or another place convinient for you

I am a professional government-licensed tour guide. So far, I have provided private and small group tours for more than 800 guests from about 30 countries in Kyoto and Osaka, where I have spent most of my adult life in the two cities. As a result, I have also been appointed as an inbound hospitality instructor by Japan Tourism Agency. So I believe you will have a fantastic experience.
Furthermore, I am also a specialist of tourism in general. I have experienced guide coaching, co-author of several inbound guidebooks, and translator of inbound materials. Especially in Kyoto, I have been in charge of a guide coaching program since 2020. Based on these experiences, I am doing a doctoral research in tourism studies (tourism ethics) in a university. So, I can assure you that you will also be in touch with more profound knowledge and wisdom that you cannot get anywhere else.
