Explore Grand Green Osaka starting from Umeda Station
This nature-integrated urban space is built around the 4.5-hectare Ume-kita Park, divided into South and North Parks. It offers wide lawns, soothing water features, and creative art zones. We'll enjoy a relaxing walk through the grassy open space.
Urban Garden Forest
Before entering the Umeda Sky Building, we’ll take a short detour to visit the ‘Nakashizen no Mori’ (Urban Garden Forest) at its base. This tranquil green space, nestled in the heart of the city, offers a refreshing contrast to the skyscraper’s futuristic architecture. With winding paths, flowing water, and lush trees, it's a peaceful spot for a stroll and a moment of calm before heading up to the observatory.
Umeda Sky Building
At an altitude of 173 meters, it features an open-air rooftop observation deck. With no roof overhead, you can enjoy a refreshing breeze while taking in panoramic views of Osaka. The scenery varies with the seasons and times of day, making it an incredibly photogenic spot.
On a clear day, you can see Awaji Island, Mount Rokko, and the Seto Ohashi Bridge to the west; Universal Studios Japan to the south; Osaka Castle’s main tower to the east; and Expo ’70 Commemorative Park to the north.
