About Tour Guide Ki M.
Hi! I’m Ki — your overly excited, always-curious, and sometimes accidentally funny Japan guide.
I guide in Kanagawa, Yokohama, and Tokyo.
I’m not just a guide — I’m also a photographer and video creator, which means two things:
1. You’ll get great photos of your trip,
2. And I’ll probably say “Wait! The light here is amazing!” at least three times a day.
I guide in English, Japanese, and Chinese, so whether you’re asking
“Where should we eat?”,
“这是什么?”,
or “どう行けばいいですか?”
— I’ve got you covered!
My tours are friendly, relaxed, and full of little surprises. I love showing travelers not only the famous spots, but also the cozy corners and hidden gems that make Japan special. Families, couples, solo travelers… everyone is welcome!
I’m naturally optimistic, always smiling, and I truly believe the best part of any trip is the fun we don’t plan. My goal is simple:
Make your day in Japan easy, fun, and memorable — with lots of laughter along the way.
If you want a cheerful, flexible guide who can translate your cravings into real food, help you navigate the trains, and take great photos of you — I’m here!
Let’s explore Japan together — one snack, one photo, and one “Ooh that’s cute!” at a time.

“An Evening in Noge-Cho, Yomohama's Goldengai”
Ki is an excellent guide and was very informative and personable with my family as she helped guide us around Noge. It was our first time to Yokohama and she secured great reservations at a restaurant we loved and would have not found without her. We had drinks in the evening after and learned much from her conversation about local life. I would highly recommend booking Ki for your Yokohama and Tokyo tours.

Hi Richard, thank you so much for your kind review! It was truly a pleasure spending the evening with you and your family. I really appreciate how friendly and thoughtful you were throughout the tour, it made the experience even more enjoyable for me as well. You are a wonderful family, and I’m very happy to have met each and every one of you:) I hope the rest of your journey in Japan is smooth, fun, and full of great memories. Wishing you all the best!

“A wonderful time in Yokohama”
Since I wasn’t able to visit Yokohama during my last stay, I decided to join a tour with Ki this time. At the same time, I also chose her offer to take photos—and both decisions turned out to be excellent. We got along really well right away, and thanks to that I not only got to enjoy the lovely harbor views, but also visit the truly beautiful Sankeien Park, and finally Chinatown at the end of the tour. On top of that, I got some great photos—far from the usual cellphone selfie routine. Thank you, Ki—thumbs up, 5/5!

Yokohama, Now & Then
Only a 30-minute train ride from Tokyo, you can reach the unique cosmopolitan city of Yokohama. Yokohama has two faces: modern and classical. In this tour you can enjoy a modern life at Minato Mirai 21 and a classical one at Yamate Heights and China town. MM21 is a national project, starting in 1984, to create a new city at its waterfront, suitable for the 21st century. Yamate Heights, an old European settlement on a hill, preserves beautiful European style houses.

Yokohama is extremely a young city. It has only less than 160 years of history.
Yokohama has a fascinating tale of transformation from a small fishing village to the 2nd largest city. Its evolution is particularly notable for how it embraced international trade and modernization. Minato Mirai district is a large urban development. The name reflects its design and purpose as a futuristic city. We will explore how Yokohama has been developed so rapidly in 160 years, watching several historical architectures, etc.
