About Tour Guide Kaneo U.

I’m so excited to have a chance to show you around my favorite spots in Kanagawa prefecture. I was born in Kanagawa. I spent my whole school life, including university, here in Kanagawa. I worked as a high school English teacher here for more than 40 years. I love Kanagawa so much. We have many interesting tourist spots, like Hakone, Kamakura, Enoshima and Yokohama.

I got my tour guide license in English in 2009. I am still an English teacher. To give an interesting and impressive lesson to young high school students, I’ve learnt and gathered many kinds of information. I also have a license to teach social studies, so I have a wide range of knowledge about Japanese culture and history. I’m sure to provide you an interesting tour.

Thankyou Kaneu - Great Day!

My wife and I had a wonderfull day being guided by Kaneo, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful experience and gave us a real taste of Tokyo in a day , he was fun and relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks again Kaneo and see you next time we visit Japan.

Thank you for good review. We could enjoy our tour under the incredibly blue sky. It was because you are a couple of "Kokorogake-ga-ii", a good natured couple. I hope to see you again, too.

Japan walking tour with Kaneo

Our tour with Kaneo was excellent. He was able to take us around to all the places we wanted to see and was able to explain all the history. Kaneo was very pleasant and professional during the tour and was able to change itinerary around to fit our needs. His English was very good and it was very easy to have a conversation.

Thank you for your really quick and kind review. I hope you enjoyed my tour guide and shopping guide. I hope I can see you again someday.

Sunshine and Blossoms - Kamakura

Day 3 was a gloriously sunny Monday. After the snow and wind the day before, it was a welcomed site. Kaneo helped me complete some banking business first thing and then we headed off to visit temples in Kamakura. On the train to Kamakura I had a great view of Mt. Fuji!!! We saw early blossoms on plum, cherry and other trees, went into the belly of the Great Buddha, had my favorite lunch, and experienced Matcha tea in a bamboo forest amongst other things. Kaneo made my whole visit a success from start to finish.

Thank you for warm review. I am really happy to have a chance to show you my favorite spot of Kamakura under the blue sky, though Yokohama in snowing was also beautiful. I am also happy to share this memorial time with you. This is the most impressive guiding.
