About Tour Guide Kaori S.
Kon-ni-chi-wa. Hello! I'm Kaori, having lived in Tokyo for more than 20 years since I got married with a photographer who lives here. I'm originally from Shizuoka prefecture which has Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan.
I took 2 working-holiday-visa stays in my younger days. One is in Toronto, Canada, and another is Australia touring by motorcycle. One year respectively.
I love travel both international and domestic, especially by motorcycle. That's why I love helping individual travelers rather than normal package tours, cause I myself love travel freely.
I love nature, gardens, trekking, greenery, cycling and motorcycle. I love to take you to the off-the-beaten tracks where I love in Tokyo.
As a national government licensed guide, I've got deep knowledge of Japanese culture and history. I really enjoy talking about Japanese way of life with people from different cultures. But I'm so flexible that I don't bother if you're not so interested in. We see what you like and talk what you are interested in. That's my style. If you don't know what to want, I can help you with that.
I'm outgoing, ( but organized pretty well!), very easy to get along with anybody, including small kids to teenagers.

Tokyo One-day as you like
This tour fits all, from first timers to repeaters who love local experiences. You can choose what you like from spots listed, or I can pick up for you if you don't have clue. Just let me know your preferences. I can make a good combination of old and modern, major and local. Tokyo has a lot more to experience besides the list. As full day tour, please pick up 3 or 4 spots. Or you can request specific spot not on the list. "Enjoy together with fun learning" is what you can expect with me.
Tokyo Highlights for first timers
If you have only one day for Tokyo, this is for you! Covering most major spots in your limited time. ・Asakusa - Senso-ji Temple, Nakamise ・Sumida Boat Cruise (as transportation on river) ・Hamarikyu Gardens ・Tsukiji Market (lunch) ・Shibuya (Or Ginza is possible) Basically walking tour, using public transportation, but we can take a taxi occasionally upon your request.
Tokyo Half-day as you like

Private Hakone - one day trip from Tokyo
Private day trip to Hakone only for you and your group, starting from Tokyo. Surrounded by great nature with Mt.Fuji view, lots of museums and hot springs, Hakone is one of the most popular destinations as a break from Tokyo. By using ”Odakyu Hakone Freepass”, we can enjoy various types of transportations such as Ropeway, Lake Ashi Boat Cruise, cable cars and Tozan Train(mountain tram) to get around. Ending place is arrangeable other than Tokyo.
Western Tokyo Highlights -Shibuya,Harajuku,Meiji-jingu more!
If you have more than 2 days in Tokyo, exploring one day in East, one day in West would be recommended, since Tokyo is such a huge city. This tour is basically walking tour, using public transportation, but we can take a taxi occasionally upon your request. My Western highlights is more with modern, young, Kawaii culture, and Eastern one is more with tradition and samurai history. Both are making today's Tokyo. Don't forget to check my Eastern Highlights too!
Private Mt.Fuji -one day trip from Tokyo
Private Mt.Fuji only for your group, starts/ends at Tokyo. Basic plan takes Express Train from Shinjuku to Kawaguchi-ko (one of the Fuji 5 Lakes) . Transportation options are available such as Express bus and Hired cars/vans on your preferences. My tour is flexible. Feel free to ask me the spots you like to visit. The transportation at the destination is not as good as cities. You might need some support to move smoothly.
